Rachel Mackenzie holds a bachelor's degree in History and Political Science as well as Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Since completing her master’s in 2019, Rachel has spent the bulk of her career in Pittsburgh Public Schools teaching Social Studies and English Language Arts. She began teaching at Perry High School in 2023 and is currently teaching CHS Argument as well as ninth grade English. A North Side resident herself, she is passionate about the community in which she lives and teaches.
